We are here to support you as you educate your children. Our members love science. We believe in evolution and climate change. We are welcoming to LGBTQIA+ community members. Masks are optional, but we usually have windows open and air purifiers on, as we respect each other.
We have kids from babies through high school. We offer field trips, community events, parent support, park meet-ups, clubs, and tutorial classes. This means we are not a co-op, but we are a community. Each family is expected to contribute in a flexible way of their choosing (class assistant, cleaning, coordinating field trips, hosting events). Parents are not required to teach, as we hire teachers. If you are a teacher or have interesting skills, you may enjoy working for us, as it is super-part-time.
Our classes run on Tuesdays, with a floating second, or often third event on another day of the week. We run most clubs on Thursdays, and most field trips on Thursdays or Fridays. We try our best to offer a mix of paid and free events, to make our community more accessible to all who are interested.
We thrive on
community-suggested
activities.
