BSO - The Nutcracker: A Magical Tale In Mount Vernon
Get ready to be swept away by excerpts of this reimagined version of The Nutcracker, choreographed by Amy Hall Garner and set in the Baltimore neighborhood of Mount Vernon, featuring inspiration from many of our iconic community landmarks such as The Walters Art Museum, Restaurante Tio Pepe, and even the Fireworks from the Monument Lighting! Dancers from the Baltimore School for the Arts will be front and center as they perform to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score and bring the magic all around us to the stage!

• 11:30 am - 12:30 pm (please arrive at 11am)
• $7 per person
• Recommended for PreK to 5th grade
• Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall
1212 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD
I have booked 50 seats for our homeschool to sit together. We will be meeting at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall at 11:00. The show starts at 11:30.
Tickets are $7 per person but infants won't need a ticket if sitting in their parent's lap the entire time. I have already pre-paid for all the tickets so please reserve your seat(s) via payment to Jen Storey through venmo, zelle, or in person before the show. I will post on here when all 50 spots are filled.
We will not have actual tickets but you can enter any of the main doors and a steward will show where we are sitting together as a group. FYI - it will seem hectic because numerous other schools will be arriving at the same time so the earlier you get there, the less chaotic it will be. If anyone arrives after we've been seated, you can tell them you are with CCHCC Homeschool group and they will direct you to where they've seated us.
Here's the link for directions/parking. I've typically found meter parking in the area but be aware that Baltimore City police will close the street right in front of the hall for school buses to park. Even with that, I have still found plenty of street parking within a block nearby.
